Mental Health

Our minds are our most important tools. If we know more about how the mind works, we can know better how we can use it for our benefit. There are other ways of thinking that can lead us to lives of sadness, stress, worry, fear and hate. There are also many ways of thinking that can lead us to happier, more productive and socially responsible lives. Our minds contain our thoughts. Ultimately we are our physical bodies and our thoughts. If we take away our bodies, we are dead. If we take away our thoughts, we are also dead for all practical purposes.

What I want to share with you is not for the clinically diagnosed. You don’t have to be sick to get better. However, we can all benefit from learning about what we put into our minds and how those thoughts influence how we interact with others, our environment and even with ourselves. There are many ways of thinking that can lead us to happier, more productive and socially responsible lives. There are other ways of thinking that can lead us to lives of sadness, stress, worry, fear and hate. What we think about tends to come about and we can control what we think.
